SELF – CONCEPT

The new media can influence your self-concept by making you think negatively or positively. However, it can do so only if you allow it to do so.

IDENTITY

A lot of people rely on their social contacts to figure out who they are. As a result, the individual may be tempted to construct a false self-presentation in order to be liked more by their peers. This self might be built on the false constructs that are offered by the media world.
